Maryland Renaissance Festival

The Maryland Renaissance Festival is the 2nd largest renaissance festival in the country. There are a multitude of activities, performances, and food, such as axe throwing, jousting, and eating giant turkey legs. Feel free to come in costume!


Gelato Festival America

September 7-8 from 11am-7pm

City Market at O hosts Gelato Festival America, which will offer delicious gelato made by world-class local and visiting artisans. A wristband grants you all you can eat gelato, the opportunity to participate in all festival activities, and a vote for your favorite gelato.

DC Beer Week

September 8-15

This eight day festival celebrates the Capital region’s craft beer community. Throughout the week local breweries, restaurants, bars, and community partners will bring you the area’s best craft beer tastings, educational seminars, and events possible.

DC Wine Fest

The National Union Building will serve as the venue for this celebration of wine. An elevated wine tasting experience that aims to stimulate all of your senses.

Taste of Bethesda

Maryland Pumpkin Festival

This festival celebrates all things pumpkin, and is the perfect way to ring in the fall. 


Bethesda Row Arts Festival

Each year, the main strip of downtown Bethesda turns into a vast outdoor art gallery. This year, 200 artists will show their work. 



D.C. Armory

Created by Refinery29, this immersive, interactive exhibit is finally coming to DC. This year the theme is “expand your reality” and all of the 29 rooms are completely unique, but totally incredible.


Haunted House in Cabin John

With Halloween just around the corner, the Haunted House in Cabin John is the perfect place for all things spooky. There will be fortune tellers, games, and refreshments.


Sugarloaf Craft Festivals

Shop independent and local at this festival that houses over 450 different vendors ranging from handmade glass jewelry to wooden spoons.
